2016 Triad Road Trailer
The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
It is a comfortable and easy daysailer, and a wonderful boat for teaching someone to sail.
Doughdish No. 37 was built by Edey and Duff of Mattapoisett, MA in 1976. While Swan Song is one of the earliest boats built, she been recently upgraded and enjoys a long history of competitive racing. The sale includes newer sails by Sperry (Main and Jib – 2014), spinnaker and gear, new mast and boom (2013), and a 2016 Triad Trailer.
Boat and trailer can be purchased separately.
