The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.

It is a comfortable and easy daysailer, and a wonderful boat for teaching someone to sail.

Doughdish No. 148 was built by Edey and Duff of Mattapoisett, MA in 1983. DD148 is good condition. With a normal yearly work list, DD148 would be an excellent boat for daysailing or competition. The current owner has set up the boat for racing with Harken replacements for many of the standard fittings. Sails are not new, but in good condition.

The sale includes a custom launching road trailer by Triad.
