Triad Road Trailer
The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
It is a comfortable and easy daysailer, and a wonderful boat for teaching someone to sail.
Doughdish No. 299 was built by Edey and Duff of Mattapoisett, MA in 1991. SWEET PEA DD 299 has been well maintained and lightly used. Her fit and finish is excellent with her trim nicely varnish, topsides in good shape, and bottom smooth and fair.
The sale includes working sails, cockpit cover and a Triad Trailer.
She is currently in Florida and can be view by appointment only. Please contact Tyler Fields at Ballentine's Boat Shop via Email for more information about this listing or to schedule an appointment for viewing. Or call Tyler at 508-563-2800
