DAISY KING is a beautiful vessel in exceptional condition. She changed ownership two seasons ago but has seen very little use since. While most of her sister ships feature traditional white hulls, DAISY KING stands out with a striking blue gelcoat hull complemented by a Sharkwhite bottom finish.
Her brightwork gleams with professionally applied Epifanes varnish completed by Ballentine’s Boat Shop, while the rich teak cockpit sole is enhanced with a warm golden-toned oil finish.
She sits ready on her Triad trailer for her next steward to take her home—or straight to the water. Her yearly maintenance has been completed so she is ready to go when you are.
The Doughdish is a fiberglass reproduction of the original Herreshoff 12 1/2 footer. It is constructed in foam sandwich fiberglass with teak trim. It is built to the exact hull dimensions and rig of the sloops designed by N. G. Herreshoff in 1914. As a result they are able to compete against the wooden boats in class races and regattas.
